About the Pastor

Has passion for teaching, preaching, evangelism and missions

Rev. Nelson Koh has served in the pastoral
ministry for the past 27 years. He serves as a Volunteer Pastor with the Northern
Christian Ministry Alliance Church (NCMAC), Preston, Australia, since February
2016. He is a current National Board member of the Christian and Missionary
Alliance, Australia (C&MA) upon his election in February 2020.

Previously, he was the English Congregation Pastor of the Christian and MissionaryAlliance Church of Victoria (CACV), Burwood, also one of a network of some 55 churches of the C&MA.

In February 2017, he was appointed Victorian Coordinator by the National Board over the then 8 Alliance churches in Victoria. Following a call later in the same year, he was given the added responsibility of being the Consulting Pastor for the WesternAlliance Community Church (WCAC).

He has served before as an Associate Pastor with an independent Evangelical Church and as Youth Pastor with a Presbyterian Church, both in Australia. He and his wife Kim has also supported the ministry of two Vietnamese Churches among English speaking young people, also part of the C&MA.

 

Rev. Nelson holds an M.A. in Ministry from Harvest Bible College, besides being an
Agronomist and an ESL teacher. His wife Kim, who is also from Harvest, has since
retired as a Linguist and ESL Teacher by profession but is still active in the ministry
including preaching and teaching. Nelson has 3 married daughters and has also
served as Assessor with the Christian and Missionary Alliance Bible College at ACT.

Ordained by the C&MA in February 2013, Rev. Nelson, besides his commitment with NCMAC, also takes itinerant preaching and teaching engagements and seminars at various churches, bible colleges and Christian groups, both locally and abroad.

His current vision is to support and engage in mission workboth locally and overseas, particularly in the South East Asian region.
